when the church has a mass, the street is crowded, just keep the important things because there are still many pickpockets.

We were there during this year's Traslacion (Jan. 2024). Wide screen LCD monitors were set up In different locations for the benefit of the large crowd of devotees and churchgoers.

Very nice church to visit and pray. Truly majestic and solem. I recommend to vist minor basilica during weekdays because its not that crowded unlike weekends you can't even get through a lot of people going in there.

Majestic church! Lots of pews and rather crowded, but it still feels peaceful. Beautiful altar. There exists an orderly system for crowd control. Lots of vendors outside selling candles and figurines.
