    Had a decent stay until checkout. Told by the staff that we had to pay a FINE for MAKEUP stain in the bathroom. My wife doesn't even wear makeup!!! They would not even show us a picture or any evidence of the stain. NEVER AGAIN. would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    The place is good and the ambiance but the one that I can't forget is the security guard who is very rude and inconsiderate. He already saw our car on the aisle yet he didn't even move the signage in which our car can't get through. We even beep to get his attention but he got mad because of it. Are the owners even aware of this kind of attitude before they hire this kind of personnel?

    09 May , running after me in the lobby before I went back to my room to tell me to pay for my meal after I had left the restaurant. Background , I had asked the staff at Luxent garden cafe Manila, Philippines, Ms C, if I could have dinner and put it to my room. Ms C said yes and asked me for my room and I gave it as 9xx premier wing. This was at nearly 8pm. I had checked in since Monday 06 May at 3pm as we were having a 2 day event. While I came in with 4 other colleagues and all were never asked for CREDIT CARD swipe at check in as well.It is extremely upsetting to finish a meal and be chased to told that I have to pay up because the hotel did not have my credit card swipe ! After all I did my due diligence as a precaution. Is it YOUR RIGHT TO INSIST THAT I PAY IMMEDIATELY ? Rather than at checked out ? Is this a customer friendly approach ? Or at least the company that had booked me in is surely the sponsor or guarantor should I abscond. Ha.This has me fired up and have totally spoilt my dinner. I take it as a reflection of Luxent hotel as an unreasonable approach of insisting of payment since hotel did not take my credit card information at checkin time. All after telling my room number at the start, then eating for 45 mins , and signing the bill to my room at the end. Couldn’t you simply tell me at the beginning when I asked about putting my dinner bill to my room ? Not a “ big deal” if you told me at the start. The front desk duty manager Ms L tried in vain to appease me , by repeating that there is no credit card details( ha - same at politely telling me of company policy). Whose issue is it then ? So , disgruntled , and visibly agitated, I when back to my room to take my CARD , and paid up in advance , for the entire stay, ( I would have checked out tomorrow), rather than pay only for the dinner. I am utterly dumbfounded by such an act of disservice to your guest. I take your insistence as an act of discourtesy at the highest level. This is a sad time experiencing such an incident. I HAVE NOT ACCEPTED THE APOLOGY OF your front desk manager as they have nothing to reflect upon as they must be only “ doing their job” . The incident that will stay in my mind for a long time and be one of my “horrible hotel episode”.

    The rooms were comfortable, although it's worth noting that there are no bathtubs. The beds were particularly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The elevators were fast, which was convenient. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. And there's WIFI.However, I encountered some issues with the guards, who were not as friendly during my first and second encounters. I believe the management should focus on training the guards to treat guests more cordially, as it greatly impacts the overall hotel experience. Additionally, there was a long wait at the lobby for the deposit process. The hotel should work on being more systematic and efficient in handling room check-ins and returning deposits upon checkout.On a positive note, the rooftop lounge was a standout feature. The lounge offered delicious sisig, sandwiches, and amazing cocktails, especially the mango margarita. It was a delightful experience to unwind and enjoy the city view from the rooftop.Overall, Luxent Hotel offers a comfortable stay with friendly front desk staff and excellent amenities like the rooftop lounge. However, improvements in guard training and deposit processes would enhance the guest experience even further.

    Hotel in general below ok. Decent restaurant and big rooms but my experience was not the best. The room was a smoking room and was smelling bad. I had to ask to replace the shampoos after they cleaned the room or to bring sleepers. Reception not very helpful. They wanted to charge my card with a deposit although the room was fully prepaid and there is no minibar in the room to risk. The AC old, I used one card to keep the electricity so when I return to the room from work, I could actually sleep. They removed the card and the room was like an oven.
