2 months agoThough not surprising for an Okura hotel, I was impressed by the quality and spaciousness of the rooms. Since the property is fairly new, it is also high-tech and modern. Closely connected to Terminal 3 of the MNL airport I prefer it over the other contenders in the same area. The breakfast is a delight in terms of quality of food and openness of the restaurant.

2 months agoFabulous large airy rooms, loaded with style and all the amenities. The pool area is just fabulous. I was surprised that there isn't a spa, but I would definitely return and recommend! Staff was lovely and helpful. Don't have anything negative to say. A small note to the management though, the elevator buttons have no identifying information for the lobby, pool, or mall sky bridge floors. That would be helpful.

a month agoI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Okura, situated in the heart of Newport City, just opposite NAIA Terminal 3. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquility and sophistication. The hotel's elegant design seamlessly blends Japanese aesthetics with modern comforts, creating a serene oasis amidst the bustling city. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and adorned with subtle touches of luxury that ensure a comfortable stay. The view from my room overlooking the airport runway added an exciting dynamic to the experience, especially for aviation enthusiasts. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the hotel's restaurants. From authentic Japanese cuisine at Yamazato to international delights at The Lounge, each culinary experience was a delight for the senses. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste truly showcased the culinary mastery of the chefs. The service at Hotel Okura deserves special commendation. The staff members were attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was memorable. Whether it was arranging transportation, providing recommendations for local attractions, or simply greeting guests with a warm smile, their hospitality was exceptional. The hotel's location is also a major plus point, especially for travelers with early or late flights. Being just a stone's throw away from NAIA Terminal 3 makes it incredibly convenient for seamless travel experiences. In conclusion, Hotel Okura Newport City offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hidden gem provides a sanctuary where you can unwind and rejuvenate amidst the vibrant energy of Newport City. I can't wait for my next opportunity to return and experience the unparalleled hospitality once again.

2 months agoThe service especially check-in service is not 5 star level. Asked for water when we were checking in and was told "there's water in your room"...?!? Then they realised and brought me a glass of warm tap water. They are so hostile and stuck up like we were bothering them. Upon checkout we asked if there's a bridge/ sky walk that connects the hotel to the airport as the airport is across the road and was told that yes there is a bride, was shown the highway bridge. Do you really think we were going to walk along the highway to cross? I think the staff lacks common sense and hospitality skills. Which brings the hotel down. Shame because the room were lovely.
